Thrane & Thrane Announce 83cm VSAT Antenna
Cobham Satcom have announced the release of their new 83cm compact Ku Band VSAT antenna system the Sailor 800.
Sailor 800 VSAT has RF performance that allows it to compete with larger, 1m systems, offering significant benefits by being lighter, more compact and lower cost.
The system has already been type-approved by Eutelsat, opening the way for operations on the networks of all VSAT operators. Other type approvals are in progress. It integrates seamlessley with the following modems:

- Comtech CDM-570L
- Gilat SkyEdge II
- STM SatLink 2900
