Acutec visited M.Y. Mayan Queen IV during a brief stop of the yacht in Sydney this week. At 92 meters long and six storeys high she is the largest Superyacht ever to visit the harbour city. MQIV was built in Hamburg in 2008 and is listed as the 37th biggest yacht in the world according to Superyachts.com.

Acutec assisted yacht staff remotely over several weeks in the leadup to the port visit when they were having problems with their Sea Tel dual TVRO antenna system. This set up provides the yacht with uninterrupted connectivity removing any issues with mast blockage. It is compatible with Foxtel and Free to Air services in Australian waters and many other Ku band TV services all over the world.

Following the global financial crisis, super yacht visits to the Asia Pacific region are again on the rise. The number of yachts requesting activations, service and support for their Sea Tel TVRO systems has increased dramatically from 2 years ago.
