Iridium Pilot

Iridium Pilot features a compact ship terminal with no moving parts. The other feature that sets it apart from all other commercially available maritime satellite communications terminals available today is true global coverage. If you are venturing to very high latitudes, either North or South, only Iridium will work and is an essential part of your ship's communications suite. This is because Iridium uses Low Earth Orbit satellites rather than Geo-Stationary satellites as is the case with Fleet Broadband and VSAT. A variety of voice and data plans are available with data speeds up to 134 kbps.
