The 1.5m main reflector of the Sea Tel 6009 allows operation right at the edge of satellite coverage areas. The 6009 can support faster data rates both into and out of the vessel, making it particularly suited to data-intensive applications such as seismic survey or video streaming.
A unique heave-dampening mechanism in the Sea Tel 09 series chassis allows the antennas to carry larger, heavier radio equipment. To the user, this means faster data rates, and a more reliable satellite link in more places.
This product has been discontinued. It has been superseded by the Sea Tel 10 Series.
