Ever wondered what's in a satellite dome?

Now you can find out with Cobham Satcom's new 3D catalogue app. Being 3D, you can pinch, pan and rotate your way to maritime satcom heaven with all your favourite ship satellite and radio products.

At the touch of a button, you can even remove the radomes for an engineer's-eye view of the important bits inside. There is also an augmented reality mode which I couldn't get to work within my extremely limited attention span.

If you just need information though, the whole Cobham Satcom catalogue is available in the app in old-fashioned, but still glorious 2D. Pretty handy. Yes, it's a bit of a marketing gimmick and the 3D augmented reality part probably isn't an efficient use of the internet.

But it is pretty cool though! And now you can check inside your boat's VSAT and satellite TV radomes without having to get hauled up a mast or go anywhere near a cruise ship buffet. Nice work Cobham Satcom!
